Domestic Wastewater

NARO WATER SOLUTIONS’ offers wide range of municipal sewage treatment processes, from compact containerized packages (5 to 2,000 Cub. Meter Per Day) up to large city-scale solutions.

The offered process solutions are MBBR (Moving Bed Bio Reactor); Extended Aeration; MBR (Membrane Bio Reactor) and SBR (Submerged Bioreactor).

MBBR (Moving Bed Biofilm Reactor)

NARO’s MBBR is a highly effective biological treatment process based on a combination of conventional activated sludge process and biofilm media. The MBBR process utilizes floating media within the aeration and anoxic tanks.

The microorganisms consume organic material. The media provides increased surface area for the biological microorganisms to attach and grow. The increased surface area reduces the footprint of the tanks required to treat the wastewater. MBBR is widely used in domestic sewage treatment applications, to achieve TSE quality for flushing into toilets, irrigation, or discharging into marine environment, with outlet quality result of BOD <10mg/l and TSS <10mg/l.

MBBR is also used as conjunction with other technologies, in complete process solutions for industrial effluent treatment.

NARO’s MBBR are offered in CSEP containerized process tanks, or in GLS / GRP / RCC.

Advantage over other sewage treatment processes:

  • Compact units, with less area consumption.
  • Less retention capacity of aeration tank.
  • Low capital cost
  • Low operation and maintenance cost
  • Most feasible solution for municipal wastewater treatment

Application:

  • Municipal & Industrial Wastewater
  • Laboratory & Healthcare
  • Hotels, Buildings, Labor and Refugee Camps.
  • Food and Beverage applications.
  • Oil & Gas
  • Power Plants

MBR (Membrane Bio Reactor)

NARO WATER SOLUTIONS’ MBR is a combination of membrane filtration and activated sludge processes, via bioreactor membrane separation.

Membrane bio-reactor system greatly intensify the bioreactor function by membrane separation.

This innovative technology offers several advantages compared with the conventionally activated sludge process. Among these advantages are higher biomass concentration, eliminating the needs of secondary clarifiers and improved effluent quality with BOD <5 mg/l & TSS < 5 mg/l.

NARO’s compact MBR systems are offered in CSEP containerized process tanks (mobile solutions), which may treat up to 400 m³/day in a single 40-feet containerized module, or higher flows in various parallel streams.

Due to the standardized ISO container design, the plants can be easily transported, without extra shipping charges.

Prefabricated and pretested MBR packages minimize the site installation works and time.

NARO WATER SOLUTIONS’ MBR are being custom designed, engineered and fabricated to suit for different applications, such as:

  • Municipal wastewater
  • Industrial Wastewater
  • Laboratory & Healthcare applications
  • Hotels, buildings, labor and refugee camps.
  • Industrial wastewater, e.g. food and beverage applications.
  • Oil & Gas
  • Power Plants
